This design didn’t take long to manifest after I had arrived in New Mexico. I was overwhelmed with all the unfamiliar, new designs and artifacts and objects native to this land. The figures in this are inspired from the Kokopelli kachinas that play the flute for both prosperity and fertility. Harvest Song has two Kokopelli like figures in black playing their flute to the corn with two birds overhead, the dreamcatcher in the middle, on a textured red background with green sun motifs surrounding a Southwest border in yellow, red and turquoise. My oldest son, Joshua, collaborated on this design. A perfect Southwest design for your adobe entry hall.
