Acrylic on paper, 18″x24″
I used to go to Maine in late summer with my boyfriend. It was heavenly. All the flowers were so happy in Maine with the ocean breezes and cool air, and the Maine cosmos was particularly strong and prolific. By late summer in Virginia, many flowers are showing signs of exhaustion from battling the heat and humidity that bring a vast array of insects. Flowers are no dummies. Life by the ocean makes you happy.
Framed in green metal.
