“This is the second unit that I have purchased. I bought a second one because I had more to compost than could be accommodated in the first bin. The unit is compact, which fits my small outdoor space; it is easy to load and rotate. The base collects compost “tea,” which is extremely valuable to have when watering your garden or potted plants; it is the perfect fertilizer. I am not sure what I expected, but it can be a bit tricky to unload the compost. I use a pitching fork, which is easier than using a shovel. I highly recommend this bin.”
Fully enclosed design eliminates odors and keeps pets/pests out
Large removable door for easy filling and emptying
Air vents at the top of drum always allows oxygen in
Drainage vents at the bottom so excess moisture can escape

Works for us!
”We’ve had one of these for about a year and purchased it after a lot of research. By and large, it’s been a great purchase. I think it probably works better than most other products on the market. The compost is fast, we can keep composting far further into the winter than we would be able to otherwise and it’s held up pretty well. We have noticed that the screen that helps drain the composter needs to be kept clear and may need regular cleaning to make sure nothing gets too soupy. One other minor annoyance is that the lid doesn’t stay open well without holding it, so getting things in and out of it can be a hassle.
In regards to the other review complaining that the composter doesn’t work when filled only with greens, it’s a composter, not magic. You do have to know something about composting and create a balance of greens and browns to make it work most effectively. That’s not a product defect. It’s like buying a skillet and complaining that it burns your eggs because you didn’t know you needed to grease it before putting the eggs in. “

“The product arrived as described and was simple to put together. I actually like the way it looks in the back of my garden. I am an avid gardener and find it so easy to collect flower clippings and just toss them in the bin…. After only a month my clippings have composted down by 50% so plenty of room for more…. Very sturdy and easy to just tip over and roll when I want to agitate the contents. Love it and well worth the investment.”
“First – aesthetically, it is very nice and can remain out in full view on the patio. Does need to be covered however during rains as water will drain off the lid and over saturate your compost. Easy on/off lid allows for access to turn your product. Ventilation holes are great. I have not accessed my compost from the lower sliding door, but take it off the top after removing the lid. Overall – very satisfied.”

5.0 out of 5 stars: Perfect for odorless composting!

“I ordered this for someone who likes the idea of composting, but has no tolerance for the possible odors. Outdoor composting is fine in the summer, but most indoor composting options produce some kind of odors. I tried bokashi composting, but the fermentation scent while not bad, was not acceptable. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I had never heard of this method of composting. Once we got it, we cleaned out the leftovers in the fridge and let it run. Everything went in…. chicken bones, eggshells, ham chunks, noodles and veges. I turned it on and walked away. Our first batch took longer than I was expecting, but when I opened the unit, I was shocked at what I saw.(see photo) The results look like organic fertilizers. There was absolutely NO ODOR at all. Once it is done. it smells very faintly of the food that was processed. I am keeping it in a bucket and will be adding it to the soil when I do my spring plantings. I will not need to buy any organic fertilizer to enrich my soil as this produces just what I need from the scraps that I would have thrown out! It will pay for itself just from that savings alone. We are very happy with this unit and have it tucked away in a corner of the laundry room where we run it whenever the bucket is full. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to compost, but wants it simple and with no odors or mess.”
