Walk With The Earth

To walk with the Earth is to realize our responsibility as stewards of this beautiful blue star planet that we call home. We can no longer depend upon outside sources to save us or to save our planet. Our sentient, wise Earth is our source and life force for the dreaming power we are meant to share with her.

Natural, universal and spiritual laws are embedded within the flow of creation as guiding principles by which to live. At the heart of this moral guidance is our courage to care and to cause no harm to all life. There is no way forward for humanity so long as we continue the immoral abuse of the planet, the animals and one another.

Our knowledge of the ground beneath our feet is the revelation for our place within creation and the cosmos. The natural world is the mirror for our capacity to receive and transmit cosmic and earthly forces. We are energy beings designed to thrive within a cosmic and sacred ecology.

The wise spirit of our divine planetary mother has been forsaken and betrayed in favor of patriarchal substitution. The great deception has blinded and enslaved us while usurping the truth and knowledge we need to sustain our sovereign freedom, and to preserve peace upon our planet. The Earth’s current correction of what went wrong requires our participation.

We are dreamers within the Mother Earth’s dream. We are her emanation into a divine experiment that has been captured, and suffers from unintended interference. Only the return to our love for her dreaming power can grant us sacred redemption by which to unify in all our diversity upon common ground.

The Earth is waiting for us to walk with her, to travel the multidimensional highway towards our direct experience of her organic light within which the mysteries reside. It is not our quest for the meaning or purpose of life that will soothe our souls; it is the ecstasy of feeling alive within her dream that will gift us with the sweet taste of true freedom with which to expose the deception that imprisons us.

I think that what we are seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances within our innermost being, and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive…we are so engaged in doing things to achieve purposes of outer value that we forget that the inner value, the rapture that is associated with being alive, is what it is finally all about.

Joseph Campbell, The Power Of Myth

Will I see you on the path as we walk with the Earth? I hope so.

A Hopi Elder Speaks

“You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour.  And there are things to be considered . . .

Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.”

Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, “This could be a good time!”

“There is a river flowing now very fast.  It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid.  They will try to hold on to the shore.   They will feel they are torn apart and will suffer greatly.

“Know the river has its destination.  The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water.   And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate.  At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves.  For the moment that we do,  our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.

“The time for the lone wolf is over.  Gather yourselves!  Banish the word struggle from you attitude and your vocabulary.  All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”

Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it.

The Positive And Negative Expressions Of Natural Law
