This is a beautiful, autumn landscape painting of our Virginia farm. I tried to capture the reflections in the pond water…that is tricky to do! The pond is below the scene I was painting, and the reflection I was trying to capture was above. So, as above so below. In the bigger picture regarding that expression, I do think the main purpose of life is to create heaven on earth. I got off to a good start growing up on this heavenly farm.
