Colorful toucans are one of the gems to be found in Mexico. I stayed once at a friend’s house in Playa del Carmen, back when it was still a village with dirt streets and only two restaurants. Every morning this same toucan would appear in the same tree at the same time. I would be on the porch having coffee and breakfast each time he arrived, and it seemed this breakfast toucan wanted to chat for he always began talking.
