Red Chairs At Evening

22″x 30″, Acrylic on paper

I never found it difficult to find inspiration for a painting. The great painter, Robert Henri, said that inspiration was all about training your eye and soul to see the extraordinary in the ordinary. While the red chairs on my front lawn were an ordinary site, a descending dark storm gave these red chairs at evening new life against the stormy shades of blue and green in the background.
