Aqua oil on canvas, 24″x36″

There are many vineyards in Virginia now, and some fine wine is coming from these grapes. A friend with a vineyard was about a twenty five minute walk from my house, and I often walked there to sit on the hill in the vineyard to watch the sunset. It was a great spot to watch the red sun over the vineyard slip down behind the blue mountains.
