Rinconada Spring

Acrylic on paper, 14″x20″

The road between Taos and Santa Fe winds up through a beautiful canyon along the Rio Grande river. One of my favorite stops along the way is in the small village of Rinconada famous for its roadside fruit stands. This lush, verdant valley is an oasis in the high desert come spring when all the fields turn bright green, and the fruit trees are full of pink blossoms. It was always a must do road trip for me to capture the beauty of a Rinconada spring.

Framed in dark green metal.
