I had a great view of Taos mountain from my old hacienda in town. It snowed like crazy there. I was cooking for 18 people one Thanksgiving day, and it started snowing early that morning. By 4 pm that afternoon, there was about 30 inches of snow on the ground. The snow in Taos did not keep any of my guests from showing up to eat turkey.
