New Mexico is beautiful after the snow falls, especially if the sun comes out and turns it all into a glistening paradise. I do not like the cold much, but I never minded the cold in the high desert. It can be really cold, but it just is not that bone cold you get back east. In the winter of 2005, it snowed and snowed until after two back to back storms, there was about four feet of snow on the ground.
