Poppies in the Olive Grove

Acrylic on paper, 14″x20″

This beautiful scene of poppies in the olive grove appeared on the other side of a hill on a winding country road. We were passing many olive groves, but none were lit up like this one with a zillion yellow flowers dotted with red poppies. I couldn’t wait to paint this!
