The flower and vegetable beds in our farm garden surround the orchard trees that provide a heavenly expanse of shade in summertime. Resting in the shade of the orchard often became a contemplative time for life’s polarities: light versus dark, cool versus hot, subtle versus bold, good versus evil. I resolve that all life’s wisdom is quietly tucked away in nature’s mysteries.
