Down The Hill
Acrylic on paper, 12″x16″
How can one not love autumn when all the trees turn such amazing colors? One crisp, fall day I went for a long walk on our Virginia farm. I was coming down the hill from the barn, and the trees lining the road were just on fire with oranges and red. I thought again about all the color and beauty created from dying leaves. If nature is a mirror for us, then the transformation from life to death must hold something glorious.
