Stonewall By The Garden
22″x 30″, Acrylic on paper
In the summer of 1993, I painted a series of 25 paintings to honor my step-mother’s magnificent garden on our farm. I exhibited the series at a gallery in the spring of 1994, and my father bought this painting. I am certain he chose this one, not only for the garden he so admired, but also for the stonewall that so uniquely defines the countryside of Virginia.
