The Big Lilac

Acrylic on paper, 18″x24″

I was surprised when I first moved to New Mexico not only that lilacs grew there, but that they grew so big there. I was so delighted come spring to have lilacs to cut in abundance. I made a real point to get to know my neighbors that had the big lilac bushes so we could trade cut lilacs for them picking apricots off my big tree come late summer. It was a good trade.

Unframed.
