Acequia Madre Patio
Acrylic on paper, 9″x12″
I lived once in a beautiful, old adobe in one of the oldest parts of town that was home to one of the oldest acequias. An acequia is a manmade water canal that serves as a community waterway. I guess this one was the mother of all waterways in town at one time. It was a charming place to live, and I had some festive, summer dinner parties on my Acequia Madre patio.
