I did this painting while sitting on the front porch in late summer, watching the sun creep its way down in the west. I was looking at the afternoon apples on the trees, and wondering what new recipe I could make next. I had made apple salads, apple pie, apple pancakes, apple cake and apple smoothies. I was running out of apple ideas.
