Acrylic on paper, 12″x16″

I guess it’s pretty clear how much I love to paint flower gardens. My enthusiasm went to a whole other level while shopping for paints in the art store one day. I came across some new, liquid, watercolor paints in the most electric colors. I had never been able to replicate the hot pink shade of the lychnis flowers in the garden. But now with these new paints, I was certain I would be able to capture the brilliant fuchsia colors of these flowers.
