Roadrunners In The Sage
Acrylic on paper, 22″x30″
It is kind of hard to see the roadrunners in the sage in this painting, and it’s even harder to see them live in the high desert. They are everywhere, but your chances of actually seeing them are so rare because they are so fast and they blend. I got lucky one day while hiking in the mountains only because my yellow lab could sniff them out in time. Then poof…they were gone.
