I was traveling with my sons once on a magical ride to visit the national parks of Utah which were over the top. I do not recall where this scene was on our journey, but we dropped down into a valley full of red and yellow hills with bare trees surrounded by a field of sunflowers. I was stunned. I had never seen such red earth as I saw in these Utah hills. I thought all the red hills were in New Mexico, but I was wrong.
