The Chimneys

Acrylic on paper, 12″x16″

I suppose Georgia O’Keeffe made the Chimneys famous as she painted them often. It’s hard not to paint them as they suddenly rise out of nowhere, and add a new element to the landscape. When the sunlight hits them just before sunset, I have seen them look like they were really on fire.

Framed in light tan wood.
