Summer Storm

Acrylic on paper, 14″x20″

I went to visit an artist once who wanted to show some paintings in my gallery. She said they were too big to bring in her car, and if I would come out to see them, she would make me lunch. I was always ready for an adventure. When I turned down the road to her place, the road was lined solid with a type of cypress tree that one finds in Italy.  I had seen a few of these trees here, but not a long row of them. Then a summer storm blew in, and bent these lovely trees over in the wind.

Unframed.
