Winter Magpies
Acrylic on paper, 10″x14″
When I lived in Taos, the winter magpies would appear and fill this big, bare tree out the living room window. I would sit by the fire, and watch them swoop and dive and spin and soar in and out and around the tree for hours. It was an acrobatic show like I had never seen performed by birds.
Framed in silver grooved wood.
