Evening In The Wash

Acrylic on paper, 14″x20″

One of the benefits of living in Santa Fe is all the sandy arroyos throughout town that make great, natural walking trails for you and the dog. They are also called washes because when it rains, they fill up with water and wash everything in them away. I had a wonderful yellow lab, who at 5 pm sharp every day, would drop a tennis ball at my feet, and give me that long stare that said it was time for evening in the wash.

Unframed.
