I don’t know what it is about walking in the autumn countryside, and seeing a flock over the field. Maybe it is because the birds are getting ready to leave, and migrate south for the winter. Maybe it’s because they have a message. I read once that the birds are the messengers to all the plant life. Maybe the flocks of birds are telling the plants of the fields it is time to rest.
